Last week was consumed with Book Expo America and a long series of events for Read Russia 2012.
Peter Kaufman asked us to help with video content and graphics for their 4000 square foot booth.
We did (a few hours 0f) graphics which looped throughout the day, plus schedules, title cards -that sort of thing.
Some of the graphics were based off old book covers.
Others were branded video or motion graphics or slides.
The booth was so nice that some people were actually afraid to walk through it. I overheard more than one person say, “Wow. This is really nice.”
At one point a guy in a ten gallon hat and cowboys eyeballed the set up suspiciously. My hopes that he would lash out in a Tea Party tirade against Commies were dashed -but he did look like he was going to explode.
The whole program included talks from authors, historians, publishers and more authors was solid all the way through.
